The permissions/root are only a problem in combination with phoning home.

I patched Apps-Inspector with this scanning method. You may take a look at my version. 

And there is allways Privacy_Inspector (adblock!) and Privacy_Blocker (pay)

  "Autor und Verlag" gegen Bloggerin - liest sich zunächst so, als ob dort der geldgierige Content-Mafia-Goliath gegen die arme Kleinbloggersdorf-Davida antritt. Den Eindruck kann ich nicht bestätigen. Die Geschichte ist einfach nur traurig.

I am a Rooted Android Criminal!

He then told me that Google has locked me out of my PAID apps because I have violated the Market policy by rooting and modifying the ROM in my device. He went on to say that "ROM developers put malicious code in their ROMs" and for that reason I was locked out of my PAID apps. He told me that I would be able to access my paid apps if I re-install the stock ROM and do not re-root the device.
